  5. The main circuit board of your Mac Portable contains special main memory chips that are dedicated to storing the image that you see on your LCD screen. These chips are called VRAM chips. One of these chips proved to be unreliable.

  8. You will have to replace the entire main circuit board of your computer to fix this problem. The VRAM chips must be unsoldered to be removed from the main circuit board.
